17 foto ricordo dell'ondata di freddo che ha sorpreso gli Stati Uniti nel 2021
L'Europa non è stata l'unica regione ad essere stata colpita da un'ondata di freddo all'inizio del 2021. Il grande freddo è giunto anche negli Stati Uniti. In particolare nello stato del Texas, dove raramente ci sono temperature rigide anche in inverno, la temperatura è scesa a -20 °C in alcuni luoghi. Con l'hashtag #texasfreeze ("Texas congelato"), i texani stanno condividendo foto sui social media per testimoniare le condizioni estreme con le quali hanno dovuto fare i conti.
Tubi congelati, strade ghiacciate e interruzioni di corrente - l'ondata di freddo ha letteralmente paralizzato intere città, come potete vedere nelle foto ricordo qui sotto. Se non altro hanno controbilanciato le le ondate di calore estive alle quali sono abituati.
